Assembly time monitoring

At Subcontracting fair 2019 Sensoan presented an example how to monitor manual assembly phases. Small LED lamps were assembled by the trade fair guests at the IT-Line Manufacturing fair stand. After discovering the assembly guide, the assembler pressed the wireless Start button, assembled the lamp, lit it, and put the LED-lamp in the wireless light sensor on the left edge of the workstation. If the lamp light was sufficiently bright, the lamp was found to be properly assembled and the time was sent to the AWS database. The assembly time was displayed in real time in seconds and graphically compared to the target time.

When the achievements of a manufacturing line, work group, or workplace are displayed in real time, problems with the process can be detected and corrected quickly.
